Objectives:
The course aims to skill the student to:
- develop ability of managing and dealing with highly dynamic work contexts, coping with complex situations and learning to work productively and creatively in a team, including through improved communication and criticality management skills.
- develop ability to comprehend and adapt to different cultural situations and perspectives. They can involve being receptive to foreign languages and open to different ideas. Indeed, foreign students are from various cultural backgrounds and should get used to interact positively among them and with locals. Focus will be given, but not limited, to inclusion, diversity, gender balance, sustainability, work ethics.
- handle data and information in suitable form for computer-aided analysis and graphical representation (using spreadsheets, databases, computer-aided drafting and object-oriented languages)
- communicate effectively, in oral and written form, though digital tools (advanced word-processing, slideshows, videos).
