Objectives:
The student is asked to demonstrate to gain knowledge on the physical characteristics of fluids, the forces they exert in static conditions, their movement and their interaction with solid bodies and devices of technical interest. He must also be able to solve technical problems such as the sizing and verification of pressure pipes and free surface channels. The student is stimulated to elaborate with clarity and rigor the concepts connected to the motion of fluids, to take care of the formal developments of the methods studied in hydraulics, to become familiar with the terms of the hydraulic discipline, to transmit the principles, contents and the applications with correctness and formal simplicity.
