It represented an important opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and discuss concrete perspectives for future cooperation between WZUT and UNINA.<\/p><p>DiSt presented its educational, research and internationalization activities, with contributions from the DiSt delegates, Profs. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/giorgio.serino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Giorgio Serino<\/a><\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/gianpiero.lignola\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Gianpiero Lignola<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/gaetano.dellacorte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gaetano Della Corte<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/massimiliano.fraldi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Massimiliano Fraldi<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p><p>Particular attention was given to the <strong>FISA GRETA project \u2013 Green bREaThing wAlls for a more sustainable built environment<\/strong>, presented by Prof. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/gennaro.magliulo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gennaro Magliulo<\/a><\/strong>, PI of the project, as a relevant example of advanced research for more sustainable, resilient and energy-efficient solutions for the built environment.<\/p><p>The WZUT delegation introduced the distinctive features of Wenzhou and Wenzhou University of Technology, through an institutional presentation by Vice President Prof. <strong>Zheng Hua<\/strong>, followed by a technical presentation by Prof. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polito.it\/en\/staff?p=giuseppe.lacidogna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Giuseppe Lacidogna<\/a><\/strong> on topics of common scientific interest.<\/p><p>The delegation visited the <strong>Materials and Structures Testing Laboratory<\/strong>, introduced by the Head of the laboratory Prof. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/marco.diludovico\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marco Di Ludovico<\/a><\/strong> and Dr. <strong>Gennaro Maddaloni<\/strong>, with a focus on experimental testing, innovative materials and sustainability, structural assessment and rehabilitation of existing buildings.<\/p><p>The visit continued at the <strong>Biomechanics and Micromechanics Laboratory<\/strong>, introduced by the Head of the laboratory Prof. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.docenti.unina.it\/massimiliano.fraldi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Massimiliano Fraldi<\/a><\/strong>, where the delegation had the opportunity to learn more about DiSt interdisciplinary research activities and advanced experimental facilities<\/p><p>Dr. <strong>Danilo D\u2019Angela<\/strong>, Contact Person for the Cooperation Agreement, organized the event and coordinated the activities.<\/p><p>The exchange focused on <strong>structural rehabilitation<\/strong>, <strong>sustainability<\/strong> and <strong>urban renewal<\/strong>, addressing key topics such as the <strong>protection<\/strong> and <strong>adaptive reuse<\/strong> of historical and cultural heritage, <strong>structural health monitoring<\/strong>, <strong>underground infrastructure design and monitoring<\/strong>, <strong>energy consumption management<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>strategies to enhance<\/strong> the value of existing buildings.<\/p><p>The visit represented a meaningful step toward building mutual trust and identifying common ground for long-term collaboration in <strong>education<\/strong>, <strong>research<\/strong>, <strong>laboratory activities<\/strong> and <strong>technology
